Pressure Redistribution 1

Therapeutic Surface Comparison

St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota

pr1_graphOn April 3, 2001 Comfortex conducted an Interface Pressure Evaluation with staff members from St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. The volunteer, a 115 lb. healthy female, was used to compare the pressure redistributing capabilities of a Low Airloss bed, a Low Airloss mattress and Comfortex’s non-mechanical Rest-Q mattress.

Interface pressures were recorded on a computer assisted X-SENSOR pressure monitor.
