Providence Medical Center, Portland, Oregonpr2_graph

On November 6, 2002, an Interface Pressure Evaluation was conducted with staff members from Providence Medical Center, Portland, Oregon. The volunteer, a 200 lb. healthy male was used to compare the pressure redistributing capabilities of an Air Chambered mattress, a Foam-Gel mattress and Comfortex’s Rest-Q mattress.

Interface pressures were recorded on a computer assisted X-Sensor pressure monitoring device. A pillow was positioned beneath the subject’s head.
